[He doesn't care enough to be hiding from her. He's still death tolling just a little, his form wobbly and uncooperative, and there's a great deal of can't be bothered in his general air. She finds him flopped on a sofa in a common room, heels on the wall and head hanging upside-down of the cushions. He does not look up when she enters.]

[ Alisaie goes right over and looks down on him from her vantage point of standing up. ]

Come now, did a mere conversation wear you out that much?

It seemed that you would prefer a conversation in person, so I am here to oblige.

It doesn't really matter to me what you do. You can talk if it makes you feel better.

[ So she takes a seat by the couch and crosses her legs in front of her. ]

Strange to think I've been here over a year. I know that time moves differently, but I can't help but hope my brother is not getting into some sort of trouble. It is enough to make one homesick.

[ She glances back. ]

What of you? You never mentioned if those like you and your Father were family, so do you miss them?

[Absurd on the face of it, but also he wants to annoy her.]

Some of them haven't made direct attempts to kill me, I guess.

Even indirect attempts are still attempts. Even so, I hope it has not come to that.

[This is so spectacularly absurd. Some people are too dumb to bother with. Envy crosses his hands behind his head (which can't be comfortable, at his bizarre angle) and returns to ignoring her.]

I will take your stunning silence as indication that it has. I can not say that I have allies that exist now which tried to do much of the same in the past. It all depends on where our current interests lie.

[ Oh yes, she realizes it may be more pertinent to talk to the wall. ]

[No sign whatsoever that he's paying attention. Because he is not. This is all white noise now.]

[ She sighs at the lack of response. ALL RIGHT, then.

Alisaie stands up, rounds to the backside of the couch, and lifts it from the bottom intent on turning it on its side. She will tip you right out of it to get your attention if she has to! ]

[Here, Envy has an unexpected defense. His weight massively outstrips his size. The amount of force necessary to move a sofa and what appears to be a skinny teenager doesn't budge him. It feels like something approximately the size of a small elephant is lounging on the sofa.]

[ She tries pushing instead. That doesn't move it. She tries to leverage her weight by pushing her back into it. Nothing.

Oh, bother.

She huffs a sigh of frustration and rounds the couch again to look down on her Inmate. ]

Are you going to get up, say anything, or just lie there?

You're the one foolish enough to buy into this little game of the admiral's. It doesn't feel like my problem.

Your circumstance is no game. If you need help, then I am offering my services to help you.

[ Alisaie takes up a post near the south end of the couch. And so she stands there, arms folded. All. Day. ]

[Envy thrives on glares and has the patience of an undying thing. He does turn the TV on eventually, though.]
